Have you heard about our Psychology services?

Our Psychologists; Katrina, Vikki and Jess, work across the lifespan with psychological issues based around how people feel, behave and react. Psychologists use scientifically-supported tests to diagnose and treat mental health and neurodiversity in children, adolescents and adults. Katrina and Vikki work with families and individuals to support their needs in a holistic way. Meet Katrina and Vikki and read more about their clinical expertise here.

At Eastern Therapy Hub, we offer cognitive assessments, autism assessments, achievement tests and other learning difficulty assessments and treatments. We also offer specialised trauma treatment in the mode of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Contact us today for more information about our diagnostic assessment and ongoing psychology therapy services.

Everyone deserves to find their voice

Welcome to Eastern Therapy Hub, where we believe that everyone deserves to be able to communicate in their own way. This is what we mean by having a ‘voice’.

Eastern Therapy Hub is a multi-disciplinary practice in Croydon North, offering a range of therapies to treat all paediatric, adolescent and adult mental health, communication and feeding disorders. We provide services to private, and self-managed NDIS and plan-managed NDIS clients.

Everyone deserves the chance to be able to communicate, work to improve their mental health, and become the best version of theirselves. At Eastern Therapy Hub in Melbourne, we use engaging sessions to get the best possible results for our clients. No two sessions are ever the same, because we tailor our treatment to meet each individual’s needs.

Some of our specialised services include:

Art Therapy: Arts therapists use visual art-making, drama, dance and movement to improve physical, mental and emotional well-being. They work with individuals or groups using arts processes such as painting to create meaning, rather than focussing on the end product.

Arts therapy can be helpful for people who cannot verbalise their feelings due to developmental, cognitive or other conditions.

Music Therapy: Music therapy is a research-based practice and profession in which music is used to actively support people as they strive to improve their health, functioning and well-being. Music therapists incorporate a range of music-making methods within and through a therapeutic relationship to address individual client goals.

Counselling: A counsellor is a person who you talk to so they can help you overcome difficulties in your life. Counsellors are a type of mental health professional. Counsellors help you solve problems and develop problem-solving skills by helping you clarify issues and explore your options. If you are struggling with issues like relationships, money, or the loss of a loved one, counselling might help you to cope and move on through life.

Psychotherapy: A psychotherapist uses modalities such as cognitive behavioural therapy, behavioural therapy, or others to achieve a therapeutic result. Psychotherapy helps individuals experiencing a wide array of mental health conditions and emotional challenges.

Psychology: Our Psychologist conducts cognitive assessments, which assist in diagnosing Autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia and other learning difficulties and neurodiversities. Psychology can also treat a wide range of mental health conditions and provides ongoing support for building functional capacity in children and adults.

Speech Pathology: SPs are trained to diagnose and treat communication disorders. This includes problems with speaking, listening, reading, social skills, stuttering, understanding language, using voice, writing, swallowing and feeding problems.
