Referrals

You do not need a referral to see our clinicians. You can self-refer by calling or emailing us to make an appointment. If you have a referral from your GP, paediatrician or psychiatrist under a government rebate system, you may be able to receive a rebate for our service.

Medicare

Chronic Condition Management Plan (CCMP)

If you are referred by a GP under a CCMP, you or your child may be eligible for a Medicare rebate (approx. $63 per session) on up to 5 allied health services per calendar year.

Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP)

A Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) can provide rebates for 10 sessions with a Psychologist per calendar year. This is approx. $101 rebate per session. This requires a GP visit to create a plan and referral to a mental health professional.

Private Health Insurance

Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Psychology services may be eligible for you to claim through your private health insurance. The extent of your cover depends on the type of policy and extras you select. There are various limits that may apply, for example a limit per service, per year, or lifetime limits. Check with your private health insurer for more details.

NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)

The NDIS provides funding to eligible people for supports and services.

The Early Childhood Approach is designed to support children under the age of 6 who experience a developmental delay, without requiring a formal diagnosis. It also provides support to children under the age of 9 who have a diagnosed disability. You can read more on the NDIS website.

ETH is able to provide services to self-managed or plan-managed NDIS participants.
