Bonnie Evans is a registered Educational and Developmental Psychologist with AHPRA. She earned her Master of Psychology (Ed. & Dev.) from Monash University and is a member of the AAPi.

Passionate about supporting children, young people, and families, Bonnie provides counseling and intervention for a range of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, school avoidance, low self-esteem, and depression. She utilises evidence-based approaches such as cognitive and behavioral therapies, acceptance and commitment therapy, social and emotional interventions, and creative play therapy.

Bonnie enjoys uncovering and celebrating individual strengths and differences through assessments related to neurodivergence and learning challenges. She values understanding each person’s unique culture and family dynamics, ensuring that strategies and support plans are strengths-based and, whenever possible, involve a collaborative team approach.

With extensive experience across various schools and private practice settings, Bonnie has worked both as a psychologist and held wellbeing leadership roles. She also spent time in Texas, USA, as a national trainer, coach, and implementation specialist, providing workforce training for ‘Wraparound’- an evidence-based care planning process for families and young people with significant mental health challenges. Bonnie is committed to understanding systemic influences on mental health and wellbeing.

Outside of work, Bonnie enjoys going on adventures near and far, exploring new foods, and spending time with family and friends.
