Holiday Program Coordinator
Joanna is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (C.P.S.P.). Joanna graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Speech Pathology. She is a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Joanna has experience working with children and adults of different ages and cultural backgrounds through volunteer, placement and work opportunities. She has worked in hospitals, communication clinics and schools. She has also had experience in the provision of services via telehealth. Joanna has gained experience in the areas of paediatric literacy, language and speech, as well as adult swallowing, speech and language. Joanna has a particular interest in all things communication as these skills play a vital role in our everyday lives, including our ability to access opportunities and build positive relationships.
Joanna endeavours to provide quality and evidence-based therapy. She aims to support individuals in achieving their goals to enhance participation in important life activities and to improve quality of life. Joanna is passionate about working collaboratively with clients of all ages and cultures to enable meaningful and practical progress in their speech pathology goals.
