
Kara completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at La Trobe University and is a member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Previously, Kara worked as a Therapy Assistant, working with pre-school and school-aged children and their families, focusing primarily on early language and social communication. She is approachable, fun and enjoys taking the time to build rapport with all her clients and strives to make therapy enjoyable and supportive.
Kara is experienced working in mainstream schools, hospitals and community health services with both children and adults. She thoroughly enjoys working with all kinds of people to help them achieve their communication goals in areas of speech, language, pragmatics and literacy. She also has experience and a strong interest in swallowing assessment and management.
Outside of work, Kara is an adventurous, outgoing person who loves to stay healthy and active. She also enjoys baking, hiking and walking her dog.
