Kara completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) at La Trobe University and is a member of Speech Pathology Australia.

Kara is approachable, fun and enjoys taking the time to build rapport with all her clients and strives to make therapy enjoyable and supportive.

Kara has experience working in mainstream schools, hospitals and community health services with both children and adults. She has a particular interest in working with children who have speech sound disorders and clients facing challenges with literacy and feeding or swallowing. Kara is trained in the Hanen program for language intervention, and has completed additional training to treat speech sound disorders.

Outside of work, Kara is an adventurous, outgoing person who loves to stay healthy and active. She also enjoys baking, hiking and walking her dog.
