Katie is a Registered Music Therapist who graduated from the University of Melbourne and is a registered member of the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA). She is trilingual in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Katie has experience working in children’s hospitals, specialist schools, aged care settings, and community programs, supporting people of all ages and backgrounds. By drawing on strengths-based and person-centred approaches, she supports each individual and group to express themselves, connect meaningfully, and embrace who they are in a safe and creative space.
Katie believes in meeting people where they are, walking alongside them at their own pace, and trusting in the therapeutic relationship to guide the process. She thoughtfully tailors her interventions to meet a wide range of therapeutic goals, from emotional regulation and communication to social connection and identity development.
