Maddy holds a Master of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) from the Queensland University of Technology. She is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).
Maddy is passionate about working with children, young people, and their families. She has extensive experience providing psychological and neurodevelopmental assessments across a range of settings, including public child development and mental health services, child protection and youth justice settings, and private practice. She enjoys working collaboratively with families to better understand their child’s unique strengths and differences, and the way they see and interact with the world.
Maddy provides neurodiversity-affirming assessments to explore neurodivergence including autism, ADHD, and learning difficulties. She is also trained in the assessment of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Maddy adopts a compassionate and trauma-informed approach to her work, ensuring that clients they feel safe, respected and heard throughout the assessment process.
When not at work, Maddy enjoys spending time in nature, getting lost in a good book, playing the piano, and connecting with friends and family.
