The word ‘Psychology’ means ‘Knowledge of the Mind’. Our psychologists are particularly concerned with how individuals think, learn and make sense of their world. We recognise that individuals with a diagnosis of neurodiversity (developmental, social, or behavioural differences) think and learn differently, and approach supporting our clients and families with this in mind.

Eastern Therapy Hub provides psychological services to NDIS participants, clients on a mental health care plan (Medicare) and private clients. ETH works with neuroptypical and neuro-diverse children, adolescents and young adults, and offers assessment, diagnosis and ongoing counselling support, behaviour intervention, and parent support. We also offer telehealth support, which provides a convenient way to reduce travel time and costs, and also enables children to have sessions at school, and adults to access sessions from home.

Assessment

We offer assessments for Autism Spectrum Conditions, Cognitive Assessment, Educational Assessment/Academic Achievement Assessment, Adaptive Skills Assessment, Behavioural Assessment and Assessment for School Funding Purposes.

We conduct Cognitive Assessments to identify intellectual functioning and disability.

    • WPPSI-3 (Children aged 2 years, 7 months through 7 years, 7 months)

    • WISC-V (Children aged 6 years through 16 years)

    • WAIS-IV (Adult)

We conduct Academic Achievement Testing to identify learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, (specific reading difficulties), Dyscalculia (specific mathematical difficulties), and Dysgraphia (specific written expression difficulties). 

    • WIAT-3 (Ages 4 years and up)

We conduct Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnostic assessments for people of all ages to confirm or exclude the presence of an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
